Mold is nearly everywhere and part of our natural environment, but elevated mold growth inside of structures where individuals live and work requires proper removal and remediation. Mold is a common insurance issue that can lead to structural damage, personal property damage, serious health concerns, and potential liability issues. This course takes a common-sense approach to understanding mold, its risks, and the proper industry standards and methods for effective mold removal and remediation.

Participation in this course will help insurance professionals understand common procedures and timelines so they can better answer questions for policyholders and guide them through the claims and recovery process.

The presentation consists of an engaging verbal presentation accompanied by many informative charts, illustrations, and photographs of real-world situations. The slides effectively punctuate and illustrate key concepts by providing examples and actionable items relating to the learning objectives presented.
