ECONOMIC BRIEFING BREAKFAST OCT 5 by NATIONAL ECONOMIST

NMSAE invites the public to hear an Economic Briefing by Ken Simonson, Chief Economist for The Associated Contractors of America, at a breakfast, Wednesday October 5 The event will take place at the offices of the Independent  Insurance Agents of New Mexico, 1511 University Blvd.  NE,  Albuquerque,  from 8 to 10 a.m. The briefing will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The briefing is expected to inform and present attendee with the latest data on the national economic outlook and how it may affect New Mexico businesses and industries that professional and  trade associations address.

Mr. Simonson  has been Chief Economist for the Associated General  Contractors of America since 2001. Prior to AGC, Mr. Simonson was a senior economic advisor in the U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy, as well as VP and Chief Economist for the American Trucking Association.
