AANM ANNOUNCES 2018 LEADERSHIP

We are beginning what promises to be an outstanding year for our business in New Mexico. To push our industry forward, the Apartment Association of New Mexico (AANM) is pleased to begin 2018 by introducing its new board of directors.

In a 2nd term appointment, President Bobby Griffith, NAHP-e©, HCCP©, C3P©, HCM-H©, COS©, HCM-R©, STAR©, and CFO/Principle of JL Gray Company, brings an example of engagement and excitement to AANM. Griffith is recognized around the industry for his work in residential property management and has more than 30 years of experience in the real-estate industry. Additionally, he serves on the National Apartment Association’s Affordable Housing and Membership Committees. Members are looking forward to and are grateful for his willingness to lead the Association again this year.

The Executive Committee includes Steve Ross (Executive Director, Supportive Housing Coalition of NM) as Vice President of Education, Sara Minnick-Lujan (Market Development Manager, Xfinity Communities) as Vice President of Membership, Josh Smith (VP Commercial Lending, Washington Federal) as Treasurer, and Gene Vance (Vance, Chavez & Associates) as Secretary and Legal Counsel for the Board.

Our entire board is comprised of professionals who are giving of their time and expertise to our industry. The talent, dedication, and leadership of our board is sure to be a driving force for AANM to continue to improve and move forward in 2018.

In addition to legislative advocacy and education seminars for new and experienced property owners, managers and suppliers, AANM will continue to provide much needed benefits such as help desk assistance and rental forms. AANM hosts several events during the year including Maintenance Mania®, a national competition for the fastest maintenance team members in the industry as well as the Apartment Conference & Trade Show featuring over 60 vendors and 60+ hours of education.

As always, our priority is to serve the membership. With that goal in mind, AANM is looking forward to an innovative and successful year.
