After graduating high school in 1988 Susan enlisted in the United States Navy where she did a four year tour during Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Susan was released from the Navy with an honorable discharge in 1992. She then obtained a job as a Leasing Consultant with Trammell Crow Residential Services (eastern division) in Virginia Beach, VA where she ranked in the top three for “Highest Closing Ratio” nearly every month!

Since then leasing has been her passion. The harder the unit is to rent the more she loves doing it! She has an active Nebraska Real Estate license, a Certified Occupancy Specialist certification for project based low-income housing, a C4P designation for the tax credit program and a Professional Leasing Program designation from the National Apartment Association.

Eighteen years later Susan continues to travel around the country teaching people how to lease and manage apartments and be the best they can be!

EPA Lead Renovator (Pb) Certification Training

December 14, 2010 | 7:30AM - 5PM

Location: Apartment Association of New Mexico

EPA will not take enforcement action for violations of the rule’s firm certification requirement until October 1, 2010, and will not enforce certification requirements against individual renovation workers if they apply to enroll in certified renovator classes by September 30, 2010 and complete the training by December 31, 2010.

After completion of the training and passing the written exam, students will be certified per regulatory requirements. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has approved this course for purposes of certification to conduct renovation, repair and painting activities pursuant to Section 402 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (15 U.S.C. 2682).
